Petit Forestier Group acquires the Laguë Group, based in Canada and continues its international development

Petit Forestier Group, the European leader in sustainable refrigerated rental, is pursuing its international ambitions by acquiring the Laguë Group, a company based in Canada. This acquisition strengthens Petit Forestier Group's position as a leader in sustainable refrigerated rental, through a structuring operation that will drive growth in this new region.

Petit Forestier Group, a leading international player in sustainable refrigerated vehicle rental, announces the acquisition of Laguë Group (Camions Laguë and Location de Camions Eureka), a Quebec-based company specialising in the rental of specific vehicles, based in Boucherville, near Montreal.

The Laguë family has been in business since 1945, and the group's operations are mainly in the province of Quebec and eastern Ontario. The company has a fleet of nearly 1,000 vehicles and a team of over 80 employees. The company enjoys a solid reputation in the market thanks to the quality of its service, its maintenance expertise and its ambition to expand, particularly in the refrigerated vehicle sector.

A With sales of C$42 million in its last financial year, Laguë Group is a key player with a varied portfolio of customers in the construction, agri-food and distribution sectors. It operates two sites strategically located on either side of the St. Lawrence River. Following the acquisition, Jean-Philippe Laguë and his sisters Maryline Laguë and Geneviève Laguë will continue to run the company.

This acquisition marks a further step in Petit Forestier Group's internationalisation strategy, confirming its ambition to become the world leader in sustainable refrigerated rental. Canada becomes a new market for the Group, after Europe, Africa (since 2010), the United States (since 2018) and Australia (since 2024).

Petit Forestier Group now is located in 24 countries.
